NYC iSchool Open House Reservations

Thank you so much for your interest in learning more about the NYC iSchool! We are excited to host six virtual open houses this fall - two in November, two in December, and two in January.

Each virtual open house will last one hour and will include a live presentation, breakout rooms where 8th grade families will be able to hear from and ask questions to current iSchool students, and a Q&A session.

We are capping each open house at 400 families and families MUST register in order to receive the Zoom link for the open house. Zoom links will be emailed to registered families about 15 minutes prior to the start of the open house. We also ask that families only use ONE computer to log in to the Zoom to ensure that we don't exceed the participant limit on the call.

Please note that attending an open house has no impact on our admissions and we encourage those families who would like to learn more about our program to look through our website, watch our video, and read over some FAQs.

Please note that the iSchool is part of New York City's Diversity in Admissions program. This means that we will give admissions priority to applicants who are eligible for free/reduced lunch (based on family income) for up to 60% of our seats. For the 2017-2018 school year, 39% of iSchool students demonstrated economic need, compared with a city average of 72%. As a public school we have always believed that the iSchool’s student body should mirror that of New York City and we’re thrilled to participate in New York City's Diversity in Admissions program.
