Thank you so much for your interest in visiting the NYC iSchool this fall!
Though our final open houses, on November 17th (at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM), are completey full, families who were unable to register are able to come to the open houses to be on a "stand by" line. Ten minutes prior to the start of the open houses (at 12:50 PM, 1:50 PM, 2:50 PM, and 3:50 PM), if there are empty seats in our auditorium, we will let families in from the stand by line. Please note that we CAN NOT guarantee that families on the stand by line will be able to get in and families will only be allowed in if there are physical seats available.
Attending an open house has no impact on our admissions and we encourage those families who would like to learn more about our program to look through our website, watch our video, and read over some FAQs.
Please note that the iSchool is part of New York City's Diversity in Admissions program. This means that we will give admissions priority to applicants who are eligible for free/reduced lunch (based on family income) for up to 60% of our seats. For the 2017-2018 school year, 39% of iSchool students demonstrated economic need, compared with a city average of 72%. As a public school we have always believed that the iSchool’s student body should mirror that of New York City and we’re thrilled to participate in New York City's Diversity in Admissions program.
Should you have any questions about our program, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at email@example.com.
